In a Chevron pattern to make eyelet holes for the threading of ribbon.  Uses 0.75mm hook and 2x100m balls of 2/16 mercerised cotton 1ply, ribbon, beads, and silver thread, if required. 

The picture shows silver edging on sleeves and hem, this is a filament thread which is available on reels.

NB - This is an old pattern which has been updated with a superior picture.
